3000 Spheres

A custom sculpture commissioned for a 70th birthday celebration. Made of over 9,000 parts, the piece was designed and fabricated in just over 1 month.

Materials used: 1" diameter hollow polypropylene balls, crimp beads, monofilament, steel

This project presented several challenges - a tight schedule, complexity of fabrication and assembly, transportation, and coordinating the build team.
